Welcome aboard. These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of Ocean Crossings: The Dead Sea (the “Game”), a browser game offered through this website. By creating an account, purchasing access, or playing the Game, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Game.
Ocean Crossings is a single purchase game. You may create one account using a valid email address, a username, and a password. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity that happens under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country, if higher) to create an account.
The full Game is unlocked by a one time payment of $4.99 USD. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details. Once your payment is confirmed, your account is granted lifetime access to the Game as it exists and as we continue to update it. “Lifetime” means for as long as we operate the Game. We may add, change, or retire features over time.
Please play fair. You agree not to cheat, tamper with scores, exploit bugs to manipulate the leaderboard, attempt to access other accounts, scrape or overload our servers, reverse engineer the Game, or use it for any unlawful purpose. We may remove leaderboard entries, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without refund where the violation is serious.
The only content you submit is your chosen username, captain name, and crew names. Keep these free of offensive, infringing, or impersonating material. Because usernames may appear publicly on the leaderboard and memorial, we may change or remove names that are inappropriate.
The Game, including its code, artwork, text, audio, and design, is owned by us and protected by law. Your purchase grants you a personal, non transferable license to play the Game. It does not transfer ownership of any part of the Game to you.
The Game is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Game will be uninterrupted, error free, or that saved progress will always be preserved. Historical details in the Game are dramatized for entertainment and should not be relied on as factual reference.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Game is limited to the amount you paid us for it. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost progress or lost data.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above. Continuing to use the Game after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
